Moments of joy at Little Lights Daycare

      Services We Offer

We are an all inclusive daycare! Parents are only required to provide diapers (if needed), wipes (if needed), and a spare change of clothes.

      Meal Plans

Children in our care will be offered two meals, they are also provided a snack throughout their day. Parents will also receive a calendar of anticipated meals and snacks (also visible on Procare) We abide by the state guidelines for health and nutrition and will ensure the children will be receiving a fulfilling meal. We also are a peanut free and nut free facility. If your child has allergies we offer additional meals to fit the need of that child.

      Curriculum & Structure

Studies have shown that structure in a child care setting can be beneficial to their growth and development! We have created a structured and fun environment for the children that will allow them to learn, grow, and discover. Your child will be placed in a group with other children around their age in which throughout the day they will cycle through our centers. They will have the opportunity to learn academic, daily living, problem solving, critical thinking, and social/emotional skills.

      Sensory Activities & STEM

As technology grows in our society we want to take this opportunity to teach the children about science, technology, engineering, and math. We will have projects and activities that allow the children to do hands-on activities that will motivate learning and developing. We also understand the importance of sensory play in which we will have sensory activities available to the children throughout the day.

      Resources for Families

At Little Lights Daycare we value not only the children but the family as a whole which is why we provide community resources to our families. Our community board will be updated of local community events as well as local resources that families may need access to. The director will also be able to assist families with finding additional resources if needed.

      Napping & Quiet Time

We understand that some children may need a nap throughout their day or may need a few minutes of quiet time. We offer a quiet/resting area in which cots are provided to the children in which they can sleep or lay down.

      Trained Staff

We at Little Lights Daycare wish to provide the best services to our children. We offer an initial onboarding training to staff as well as continuous training throughout the year. We also ensure all staff follows state guidelines and regulations by ensuring they are mandated reporters, they complete a health assessment, and abide by maintaining state clearances and ensuring they are up-to-date on their CPR certification.

      Hours & Times

      Bilingual Staff

      Procare

Procare is the system we use with our students. We use this to have open communication with our families about their child's care throughout the day. Enrolled student's parents will have access to the daily schedule, meal plans, projects, and will have the ability to receive reports from staff about their child's day
